How can I book?

We’ve created a beautiful studio based in New Lambton where you’ll feel right at home. Our address is 2/11 Alma Road, New Lambton. As you enter, feel everything else fall away and take a moment to say ‘yes’ to yourself. We can’t wait to welcome you into our space!

Cosmetic tattooing is also known as micro pigmentation or semi-permanent makeup. It consists of pigment being inserted below the top layer of the dermis with sterile micro needles to mimic hair strokes or makeup which enhance the features of the face.

You must be 18 years of age to get a cosmetic tattoo at Arch by Jessica Riley.

Once we’ve completed your new brows you’ll take a look at them for the first time, which can often feel a mix of nervous excitement. From here it is normal to:

  • LOVE them
  • feel they are too dark
  • feel they are different to what you are used to
  • feel they are too big

Rest assured your new brows will settle. During the healing period your brows will appear darker due to surface pigment oxidising and intentional colour selection. As the skin heals, the colour softens and flakes to reveal the final result. Brows are typically fully settled and visible 4 weeks post treatment. We recommend you don’t book your eyebrow appointment close to important events, as brows may appear more intense during healing.

Just had your lips tattooed? Here’s what to expect! After treatment your lips will be swollen and the colour will appear brighter/stronger.

  • Swelling usually subsides within 24 hours
  • Peeling occurs during healing
  • Many clients heal in 4 days, some up to 7 days

⚠️ If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing can reactivate the virus. If you notice blistering, stop applying aftercare cream to that area. The pros and cons of brow tattooing Benefits:

You’ll receive an email after booking with details of a topical numbing gel to apply prior to your appointment. Most clients are very comfortable (many even fall asleep), though mild sensation is normal. Sensitive skin clients may feel slightly more.

We aim to create low-maintenance tattooing.

  • Most clients return 1.5–2.5 years for brow colour boost
  • Lips typically last longer
  • Return when colour fades or becomes patchy
  • Brows: 12–24 months
  • Lip blush: 2–3 years (often longer)

Pigment may fade faster due to:

  • sun exposure
  • active skincare (retinol, AHAs)
  • skin treatments (laser, peels, etc.)

Colour boost sessions are recommended to keep results fresh.

  • No alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen or caffeine 48 hours prior
  • No sunburn 2 weeks prior
  • No Botox 3 weeks prior
  • No filler 6 weeks prior
  • Stop strong retinol/vitamin A 4 weeks prior


Lips only: Keep lips very hydrated in the week leading up to your appointment.

Detailed aftercare instructions are provided on the day. For 10 days post-treatment:

  • No exercise
  • No swimming pools
  • No saunas or spas
  • No makeup on or near the treated area

We do not tattoo during pregnancy. After birth, we recommend waiting 4–6 months for hormones to settle. If breastfeeding, express for a couple of feeds after treatment if you proceed.

Yes — once healed (after 2 weeks), apply sunscreen to the treated area whenever exposed to sun to prevent premature fading and maintain true colour.

Yes — we use single-use sterile equipment and follow strict hygiene practices. All surfaces are disinfected and bedding is changed between every client.
